About Us

For more than twenty years, we were identified by our “roles” not by who we were. We were “CJ & Ryan’s Mom” or Katie & Morgan’s Dad”. We lived our lives as Wife, Husband, Nurturer, Provider, Protector, Boss, and any number of words that described what we did not who we were.

So what happens when life is shaken, and you no longer have some of the roles that defined you? Well that is what we are trying to find out! And we would love for you to come along with us and hopefully learn a little about yourself in the journey. You see, we have decided that our lives will no longer be about roles, just biscuits! Get it? And together, life is all about the gravy. So sop it all up with a biscuit and lick the plate clean. Life is an adventure to be shared! And our favorite adventures are road trips.

We are lucky enough to hail from the great “Old Line State”, Maryland. Good old MD is also known as the America in Miniature because of nature’s diversity packed into 10,460 square miles of land and water . It has also been called the “Free State”, and I would tell you why…but I think that would be better explained in a road trip to one of my favorite place, Fells Point.
